Wood TW-222-6 "Triple Deuce" vs S&S 510
Simulated rear‑wheel horsepower and torque — measured after the primary drive, clutch and transmission, the same way a chassis dyno reads a bike. These are not flywheel numbers, and they are not directly comparable to a manufacturer’s crank rating. Rev ceiling for this combination: 5200 rpm, limited by cam.
Where each one wins

| 2500 | 111 | 104 | -7 |
| 3000 | 115 | 110 | -5 |

| 4000 | 113 | 114 | +2 |
| 4500 | 105 | 109 | +4 |
| 5000 | 96 | 101 | +5 |
Torque, lb-ft, at the rear wheel. Everything except the part named is identical between the two runs.
The Triple Deuce has a reputation as a mid-range cam, and the curve backs the reputation up: it makes its torque earlier and gives some of the top end away for it.
A word on the part number before you order. Wood sell two Triple Deuces on the same 228° duration — the TW-222-1 at .510" lift and the TW-222-6 at .555". This page is the .555" grind. They are a long way apart on lift and only one of them is the cam described here.
The S&S grind trades the other way. Neither is wrong — they are answers to different questions, and the delta table makes the trade explicit instead of leaving it to marketing copy.
If you ride two-up, tow, or spend your life between 2,500 and 4,000 rpm, the earlier curve is worth more to you than the bigger peak.
